The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and Cultural Center is planned for a 20 acre parcel that will be created by the extension of the Fairfield Ranch Road and consist of seven buildings, parking, and magnificent gardens and fountains.
THE FOYER (RECEPTION HALL)
Building: The reception hall is a 17,621 square-foot, two-story building with office and conference space, a small medical center, restrooms, and a gift and book shop.
Use: The foyer will serve as the central point of the entire complex. The first floor will have an information desk, a reception office, a small medical center, a central security office, restrooms, a gift and book shop, and a waiting area or general meeting point. The second floor will house administrative offices.
THE AUDITORIUM (CULTURAL CENTER)
Building: The cultural center is a 33,781 square-foot, single-story building with mezzanine support spaces over the stage and entrance. The mezzanine level above the entrance will house an audio/video control center for the auditorium, as well as a quiet viewing room with a glass window looking into the auditorium. The mezzanine level above the stage will be comprised of meditation rooms. The stage will provide a platform from which spiritual discourses will be given. Also, cultural dances and plays will be occasionally performed on the stage. Storage rooms for props will be provided on both sides of the stage.
Use: The auditorium will serve as a congregation hall where people can listen to spiritual discourses and devotional hymns. In the auditorium people will have the opportunity to receive guidance on family and moral values.
CLASSROOMS, GYMNASIUM, DINING HALL & KITCHEN

Use: The boys and girls classrooms will be used to teach children moral, cultural and spiritual values. Music and language classes will also be held. The gymnasium/dining halls will be used as multi-purpose facilities. On Sunday evenings, the facilities will be used as dining halls. At all other times, they will be used to promote youth athletic activities. The kitchen facility will be used to prepare and cook food for people who attend Sunday assemblies.
